Every seed has a different oil content. The seed needs to be cleaned, destoned, Cracked , Pressed . After pressing you will get Oil Cake , which needs to be solvent Extracted to produce crude Vegetable Oil.

For Edible Oil Refining , the input feed material should be Crude Vegetable Oil.
What is the difference between Physical Refining & Chemical Refining?
The Physical Refining process is generally used in processing oils with High FFA, which includes, Rice Bran Oil, HazelNut Oil, Palm Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Shea Butter. Chemical Refining process is generally used in oils with low FFA, such as Sunflower Oil, Soya Oil, Corn Oil. Cotton Seed Oil, Mustard Oil and Groundnut Oil.
