Glycerine is a sugar alcohol derived from animal products or plants. Vegeatlbe oil/ animal fat glycerine is a slightly sweet, syrupy liquid made by heating vegetable oil/ animal fat under pressure or together with a strong alkali. The glyceric solutions obtained through the splitting with preconcentration procedure may contain up to 15 parts per 25 glycerol. They are distilled in Packed Columns, which separate impurities (large, granulated, and dissolved) and distil pure glycerine.
