De-waxing is the process to cool the oil at the temperature, at which wax converts in solid form (actually in slurry form) and the oil remains in liquid form as it is. For this oil is cooled slowly in step by step process, with cold water and then chilled water. It is then passed on to the STP – Crysta- Tower (A specially designed crystallizer), where oil is cooled slowly and steadily in counter current manner, so as to crystallize the wax for the purpose of easy filtration. Following this the oil is passed to maturater for maturation. During the time of maturation, the temperature is increased or decreased as per the prevailing requirement to assure the crystal formation of wax. Finally, this oil is filtered by the latest designed Plate & Frame Filter/ Miura Super Filter.
