Shea Butter Processing constitutes of the following process steps:

Gum Conditioning
Bleaching
Deodorization
Fractionation
Crude Shea Butter from storage tanks is directly pumped to the Retention Tank through inline mixer/High Shear Mixer, where calculated amount of phosphoric acid is added continuously by dosing system, oil before reaching to the Retention Tank passing through the Plate Heat Exchangers in PHE oil is getting heated through the outgoing hot bleached oil, this oil is further heated through the steam in PHE. In this process the Gums get conditioned.
After saturating Non-Hydratable gums, this oil is carried to the Oil Earth Mixer, after adding calculated amount of Citric Acid continuously by dosing system. Pre-calculated amount of bleaching earth is added in the Oil Earth Mixer this slurry is pumped to the bleacher. After proper holding & mixing this oil is sent to the alternative operating set of PRESSURE LEAF FILTERS after this filtration oil is again filter by alternative operating set of polishing filters.
Bleaching is done to remove the colour component of the Shea Butter.
Deodorizing is nothing but The DISTILLATION process, where the free fatty acid is distilled and the odour is removed.
After getting the refined Shea butter, as per the need and requirement of the client, the refined shea butter can be fractionated for producing Sea butter Oline & Shea butter Stearin
